I have changed the colour of the bananas from yellow to red, making them an abstarct colour makes the image stand out a lot more, partly because bananas aren't normally red, but also because the colour is a lot warmer, i.e. exciting and bold.
In the second image I have changed the door colour from blue to pink, this is to represent the room being occupied by a girl.
